A more imaginative look at Michigan's premiere National Lakeshore. As an artist my goal is to share the joy of the creative life. With these latest set of images I use my digital skills to "play" with what I observe — taking you on a journey of wonder while feeling the responsibility of making a connection, with you, the viewer. Yes, It's a bit of a balancing act — finding that place where you are challenged by my interpretation of what I observe, while still feeling that we share common creative ground.
You will find images from all over the 110 square miles of the lakeshore and a few images from beyond Sleeping Bear. You will see images from Port Oneida, Crystal River, Platte Bay, Good Harbor Bay, Glen Haven, Otter Lake and so much more.
This book is designed to be a bit more affordable (45.00) than the "Awake" book with a smaller size (10 x 10), fewer pages (100), and a soft cover, but the quality of printing is still first class and I'm hoping that the price point will allow the book to find its way into more hands. The Best of Sleeping Bear (2016)
I published a fine art coffee table style book in 2016 titled the Best of Sleeping Bear. It is a compilation of images from over 35 years of wandering the dunes, wetlands, homesteads, forests, and rivers of this beautiful national park. It sells for $45.00.
